One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. This museum is home to over 126 million specimens and artifacts, including fossils, gems, and minerals. You can spend hours exploring the exhibits and learning about the wonders of nature.

Another museum we visited was the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. For art lovers, the National Gallery of Art is a must-visit destination. I think we say them all. 🙂 The museum is divided into two buildings, the West Building and the East Building, and each building offers a unique experience.

Another museum that should not be missed is the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The museum is a powerful tribute to the contributions of African Americans to American culture and history.

We also took a tour of the Capitol Building, the heart of American democracy and a symbol of the country’s rich history. We walked down H Street several time, took a stroll to the Washington Memorial, visited Lincoln at his Memorial, and visited several parks in the area. These experiences allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the history and culture of Washington, D.C.
